ICAR-IIRR organized Tree Plantation Campaign at ICAR-IIRR Rajendranagar and ICRISAT campus on the auspicious 93rd ICAR FOUNDATION DAY - 16th July 2021 under the theme Har med par ped as a part of Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav. The programme was started with the welcome greetings by Dr R M Kumar followed by the remarks of Dr. R M Sundaram, Director, IIRR. Dr. Sundaram planted a sapling in memory of Padmashree Prof. Radhamohan, an environmentalist and Director, Sambhav, Orissa. At ICRISAT farm Dr. L. V Subba Rao, Head, Crop Improvement did the plantation. More than 90 participants including the permanent staff and research scholars of the institute actively participated in the program and 75 trees were planted.
