  2. ICAR Network Project on Transgenics in Crops: Functional genomics of iron and zinc in rice grains during 2005-2012. Funded by ICAR, New Delhi (As Co PI).
  3. Stress Tolerant Rice for Poor Farmers in Africa and South Asia (STRASA) - Phase 1 (2008-2010) and Phase 2 (2011-2014) . Funded by BMGF and IRRI, Philippines (PI for Salinity component).

  3. DRR Dhan 45: A High Zinc rice variety (Zn = 22 ppm in polished rice ) notified for the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh (Notification No. S.O. 1438(E) dated 18.4.2016).
  4. DRR Dhan 56: An early duration rice variety notified for the states of Punjab, Haryana (Notification No. S.O.500 (E) dated 29.01.2021).
  5. DRR Dhan 58: A Coastal saline tolerance rice variety notified for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar (Notification No. S.O.8 (E) dated 24.12.2021).

  • DRR Dhan 64: A Nitrogen use efficient variety notified for the states of Bihar & West Bengal (Notification No. S.O.4065 dated 31.8.2022).
  • MTU Rice 1293: A MAS derived Coastal saline tolerant variety (Saltol) notified for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu Kerala, Karnataka (Notification No. S.O.4065 dated 31.8.2022).
  • DRR Dhan 65: A Low soil Phosphorus tolerant variety developed from wild introgression lines notified for the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab(Notification No. S.O.4065 dated 31.8.2022).
  • DRR Dhan 66: It is a MAS derived variety with low soil phosphorous tolerance QTL ‘Pup1’. It is recommended for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in southern zone (Zone VII).
  • DRR Dhan 67 (BRRI Dhan 84): A MAS derived boro rice variety containing high Zinc and is recommended for Assam, West Bengal (Zone III) and Tripura (Zone IV).
